If a treatment plant is overloaded due to it’s BOD loading or due to it’s TSS loading, yet, it has the hydraulic capacity to handle the wastewater flow, then BiO3 Bioaugmentation may be a solution, or at least a partial solution to the problem on a interim basis.

An overloaded plant due to it’s BOD loading or it’s TSS loading usually means that the plant is out of compliance on these parameters.

For a more detailed explanation, click on (Out-of-Compliance WW Effluent Enhancement).

Since the BOD5 and TSS in the influent wastewater is better conditioned for treatment and the digestive efficiency of the plant is increased, the bottom line is the treatment capacity of the plant has increased so that it can make compliance with the higher BOD and/or TSS plant loadings.
