BIO₃ has been bioaugmenting sewer systems for nearly 10 years with good sucess.  We have made many changes and improvements during those years to improve our performance and service to our customers.  The invention of the patentpending bioreactor, used today, was a paradigm shift in affordability.   There is no competitor or competing technology, i.e. bioaugmentation, biostimulation, iron salts, chemicals, etc. that can compete on cost and/or benefits.  The BiO₃ bioreactor turns 1 gallon of high concentration microbes into 200 gallons of the same concentration microbes at the customer's site before it is injected into the wastewater.. 

There was a time when bioaugmentation was called "Black Art" and regarded as "Foo Foo Dust".  Part of that reputation was earned by the lack of affordability to bioaugment with the microbe quanity necessary to achieve the objective.  Most of the reputation was earned by the many microbe companies who tried their hand at the wastewater industry.  Unrealistic claims as to results, concentration of microbes, etc. were sometimes flat out lies.  Those unrealistic claims exist today and make it very difficult for the serious of us.  Also those "high costs" stimulated the growth of the biostimulation industry and more "Foo Foo Dust". 

That was never the case at BIO₃ and is certainly not the case today.   The overwhelming amount of microbes bioaugmented each day is effective at odor control and in most cases is FREE.  That is; the municipalities are realizing more cost savings in biosolids reduction than they are paying for the BiO₃ Service.  And most of all, BIO₃ is performing as promised and the clients are realizing results that they never imagined possible.
